    ... it scorchingly hot and the dogs refused to walk back from the beach to the rescue centre, they literally gave up and wouldn't walk! We thought we were going to have to flag down a vehicle to pick us up and the tuk tuk drivers wouldn't even take us because they were Muslim and their religion didn't allow it! After a lot of coaxing/dragging, we eventually got the poor dogs back to the centre, dripping with sweat ourselves! We then had a play with ...

    ... and a bit, rest is what we do. We sit still, and take our foot off the gas on the travel bus and chill out.

    It is the rainy season here, and lot of the cafes, tour shops and massage huts are closed for the season, which suits us fine (there are, bizarrely, two tailor shops and a haidresser that are firmly open). Not that it ever gets that busy around here. There is a real lazy island feel to the place, which moves slowly, on island time. ...
