I didn't do much on the day I was heading to Thailand to meet Rae because the weather in Singapore wasn't great. So I chilled out and headed to the airport mid afternoon. My flight to Phuket was fine and I was sat next to a Vietnamese and Pakistani guy who studied together in the USA and are now working for google in Singapore. Two very interesting …

Just chilled on the beach reading today, I think if I was here longer I would explore the island a bit more but fancied having a day just doing nothing! ... that I would want to do often. After we got off the night train we ended up in a mini bus on our way to Krabi Town. The mini bus driver must have not gone under 100 miles a hour for any of the 3 hour trip and talked on his phone the whole time. We had a scary few minutes when we were stopped at a police check point and they kept us there for what seemed like ages - the group of lads we were sharing the minibus with all got a little bit nervous for some reason, can't think why...
