Joe awoke and decided we were leaving that day so we rushed down and bought a ticket for lanta and then had to run back to the hotel for our bags- a truly sweaty and stressful ordeal for everyone involved! However on the ferry we met Alex the kiwi who was doing the same journey as Us and was lovely. We caught a taxi with some ...

We celebrated with some cocktails and gorged on a humongous seafood feast - squid, king prawns, tuna, snapper and barracuda. We didn't go to bed hungry that night! I assume there must be a few guests who are advised ...

Yesterday morning we caught a 3 hour minibus (and two little ferry crossings) over to Koh Lanta island. Koh Lanta wasn't originally on our radar, but when we started looking into Indonesia a bit more, we realised that it wasn't deserving of 2 whole months, so we decided to fit in some extra time in Thailand and Malaysia. We are staying in a really nice bungalow up on stilts, a few minutes walk from the beach. Were actually just behind some ...

... you're probably just being overly cautious! Afterwards we went to the stalls/shops all around the island and bought Lauren's birthday present. We ate at Matts Joint, a BBQ buffet that I'd spotted when I was here before. The food was amazing, we all ate way too much but us being tight travellers at a buffet, it must be done! Somehow afterwards we got ready and headed out for our group night out in Phi Phi. We played beer pong in a bar, the ...
