We stayed on the quiet island of Koh Lanta for four nights and so far it has been both of our favourite places in Thailand. It was a lot less touristy but beautiful nonetheless. We spent our first afternoon there checking out the pier side town and the beaches, as well as going for a sunset beach run. We rented a moped meaning we were free to go where we pleased. Whilst we would never do that in Bali with its busy crazy roads there was little risk in Koh ...

Just had fruit for breakfast and that seemed to make me feel better and we talked about places we can go next which cheered me up :) We walked to the pier and found our boat for the afternoon. The time we spent there was an experience in many ways, and it’s a shame that it didn’t live up to our expectations, and also that we ...

The tides are quite noticeable as on our way back to the house we were in waist deep water. We took a Tuk Tuk to the Saturday market and found fruits, vegetables and some prawns for dinner. We did pass on the pig snouts and feet. There was a full pig face staring at us on one of the tables - Caleb quipped ...

... he would give us the whole fish for 1000 baht (30), there were 4 of us so it was a great deal, and we demolished the barracuda.

We were really enjoying this little part of long beach, but we new we had to go to our work placement as we told them we would be there that day however we didn't set of travelling to force ourselves in to any situation, so we booked another night at blue Andaman resort where we stayed and decided to soak up some more sunshine and good ...
