    ... looked empty! We then headed to Roo Heaven and this it was. For $2 you could buy a bag of food and walk through an enclosure feeding the kangaroos as you go. This was amazing for me as up to this point I was yet to see a kangaroo close up on this trip in Australia. They were so friendly and soft which was something I hadn't expected.     So we sadly left our beloved Byron Bay and took a bus up to Mooloolaba, just under 2 hours north of Brisbane. Our friend Sam, who we had worked with back home as nurses, now lives in near Mooloolaba with her Aussie boyfriend. She graciously offered her place as she had bunkbeds in her spare bedroom and we even had our very own bathroom...and towels. It was magical.

    ... some of their routes. We managed a really good yellow route which involved a lot of bridging and then I attempted a pink overhang and did do it but don't think it was without cheating. I.e thankyou Blair for pulling me up haha. Good fun and a lovely afternoon with the lads! Finished it off with a pear cider and a lamb and avocado wrap for me at 'one up' bar which is a gorgeous place as it overlooks the whole of mooloolaba beach. Boys left us and we went ...

    ... life of luxury behind. Antony had stocked us up with a huge amount of fruit which he was able to get from a cheap farm shop on his way up to broad beach. Bless him what a lovely chap! He had to go to work so we said our goodbyes as hopefully we will see him again soon. The girlies got on our way and decided we would have a little walk around the rainforest skywalk.
