... surprisingly not as quickly as we expected. In the end Big Galah pulls into the lee of Cape Moreton and decides to overnight, we push on, poking our nose out from behind Moreton Island and you guessed it, hit with wild wind and seas. Hardening up on the wind further we are now as high as possible, settle in (somewhat of a joke) and look forward to 4 hours of this until we reach Mooloolaba. Then the Irwin family made an appearance, Bob blowing out his candles and everyone singing him happy birthday before he fed a croc. Santa also made an appearance and was encouraged to get in the water to greet 'Monty' in the pool. The croc swum out of his area, up channels to the main pool ...

... were all smelling a little of kitchen grease! We received a text message from Drue saying we had been a big help and he really appreciated everything we had done over the week which was really nice to get. Afterwards we sat on the sofa and instantly relaxed, it was awesome. We settled down to a roast pork dinner early evening, had a couple of beers before heading for an early night around 9pm! ...
