Shanghai garden, old town, fake market
Today we started our day by visiting the Yu Garden in old town. In order to enter the garden we had to walk the zigzag bridge or the bridge of 9 turns. The reason for the turns, of course, is to keep out the evil spirits. By this time, I think we had finally had our fill of Chinese gardens, beautiful as they are. The kids were still fairly cooperative while we continued to snap pictures of them.

A Ghostly Noise

The highlight at the end was 7 men on motor bicycles inside a 'globe’ which was about 40 feet high. They were whizzing around inside at a high speed – criss-cross each other paths.
