... for our 4hr journey and from there, catch a minibus to Catapan, where we switch and carry on to Puerto Galera for a couple of days. The boat trip!
... then off to a place to see giant clams ( about the size of a microwave!!) a few feet underwater. So after a warning off the Captain not to stick our hands inside the clams as they can grab you and you drown (his words) , in we went!!
Twenty mins later, with no fatalities , our next stop is a place called Sagada , but first was a diesel stop where Helen passed round some bananas that looked more like king kongs fingers!

Our next destination is Malaysia and we are hoping to land in Kuala Lumpur to find better weather, tastier food and cheaper prices. One very telling difference between the Philippines and the Buddhist countries we have previously been in happened during our in-flight orientation; the flight attendant felt it necessary to remind us that it is against the law to steal the flotation device that was under our seat!
