That is how 60 Minutes described Branson, Missouri in the late 90's when it did a piece on this tiny city of 10,000 residents in the middle of the Ozark Mountains. Visited by millions each year, there are 100 shows playing daily in small and large theaters. ... which was cool. Right by showers/bathrooms-HOT showers YEAH!!! Only complaint about Truman was there were no hot showers, only luke warm for a week. Actually, only complaint about MO state parks is that they do not recycle-no glass, plastic, metal, paper, etc. they offer wifi at the bathhouses but no recycling. The parks are very nice, cement pads, roomy sites, good prices. ...
