Five weeks, 8 major cities, four continents, 4 radio stations, 8 food markets, 6 tribal or fishing villlages, WMDB actually walked past 19 bookstores in A-dam, 20+ musuems, pickled herring sandwiches, chocolate waffles, pancakes to DIE for, trams, Red Light District, the lights and sights and fashionable footwear of Paris, swarms of hunger immigrants selling everything from super-glue to TP on the streets, cattle stampedes, and the second worst roads I have ever encountered.

... 18 days I will break my own heart. In 18 days I will die. But this isn't a story about 18.
This is a story about 19 days. In 19 days I will be reborn. In 19 days I will know my own freedom. In 19 days I will witness the Pacman effect in full action. I will have nothing. I will have everything. I am being made very nervous the closer the day comes. It is a ...

I want to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving.
I had a great thanksgiving week. I want to thank some of you who have already donated. Thank You.
My grandparents came and brought me money from some of my sponsors. I had to make sure I sent out thank you e-mails. My dad had to send in more money to People to People so I could get a confirmed spot in the program.
I will have soap for sale soon, and details of my other fundraisers.
... unable to see it. We had a nice day exploring the downtown area and just enjoying the awesome weather. We had some lunch at Whole Foods Market and enjoyed people watching at the capital building. After the long day of walking we found a this cool little bar, Little Woodrow's and watched the Yankes/LA game. Not a bad way to end our stay in Austin, good beer and baseball playoffs!
Till the next time,

... Mexican Free Tailed bats can fit under a bridge? Only about One and a half million.
The bats are very welcome in Austin. So welcome that in early March everyone holds their breath until they come back from Mexico.
Why”
The bats provide a free service to Austin. Each "night on the town" they devoure10,000 to 20.000 pounds...yep pounds of insects. So if they are here for 8 months how many tons of insects would they eat? And if they are only eating "on the river ...
... little girl I
didn't want to put down was shocking. She was the **********e to say
goodbye to because she didn't understand that I was leaving, which made it
painful. The fact that she sensed my pain without understanding what was
going on, and that she hugged me tight and left her head on my shoulder for an
especially long time, made it heartbreaking.
... Ice House. 'n "Loaded Spud" vir my en 'n hoender burger met tator tots vir Gerhard. Daar was 'n "live band" wat nogals heel goed was. Hy is net hiper-gefrustreerd daarmee. Egter darem geen ongemak of pyn nie. O ek moet hierdie brokkie deel. In ...

Austin, Texas, United States jmanc2I'm an idiot because I forgot the cord to upload photos from camera to computer. So I'll just have to 'steal' photos because a word-only travelogue is so not worth a thousand photos. Anyway, here I am in Austin - check out Keep Austin Weird. I'm off to see The Polka Dot Lawn if I ever get off line and Art Park. Unfortunately you do need to call ahead to see the Cathedral of Junk ...
