I've been wanting to go to Bali for ages but it never happen. Whenever I ask my friends to travel with me, we would discuss excitedly about the destination and how we would spend our precious time together but then again, they were just words. It never happen. I give up asking these people because it'd only make me more desperate to travel. I …

Day 1025 Tuesday it was back to Mataram. Pay for extension, get pictures taken, finger tips pressed for prints. Pretty hardcore for a month long extension, but what can you do. We got to imigrasi at one and it was almost four when we got dropped off at Mataram Mall. We didn't shop this time but this was easier to explain to the driver than our hotel a block and a half away. Tonight, we played HeadsUp with our Canadian friends after dinner, and enjoyed walking the beach looking for the cheapest beers. Turns out that 80 cents US is about as good as we can find here. Not bad! It was a very relaxed, peaceful, uneventful day, and we are more relaxed and happy tonight as we fall asleep.

... Bali lol! After lunch we went on a mission of a walk 4 miles back to our hotel which was brilliant because we got to see some local stuff and also get our bearings and started to get a feel for the place, random clothes markets and warungs (food stalls) dotted along the streets, Lizzie was fascinated by the wooden willies at every market along the way, we've yet to understand what the meaning is behind ...
