      ... the sun. Kuta has a beautiful beach with white sand and a blue ocean and is a perfect place if you like surfing. You see learners and a lot of really talented locals surfing on the beach which is really fun to watch.There are also small beaches bars set up on the beach if you ever get thirsty. The only annoying thing is that you get a lot of locals trying to sell you **** there, from bracelets, to foot massages ...

      ... a telephone call to the basic English speaking manager later we managed to check in and order a taxi for 3am. The rest of the day was spent watching TV and sleeping (knowing very well that we would need to be up at 2am so any sleep now would be appreciated tomorrow).       ... and a few supplies on my first day, and found myself cast adrift in a strange world of yarded cows between warungs (places to eat), and rice paddies to one side with villas on the right. The eye is certainly never bored here.

      ... company owned by an Australian man who is married to a Balinese woman. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning and driven to a restaurant for breakfast. Before reaching the restaurant, we stopped at a lookout overlooking some beautiful rice terraces to take some pictures.
