... enough to fit into the P & O cruisers budget. New Caledonia is simply the same price as Sydney. No cheeky little island bargains. Jane's husband is coming to pick her up in his red 5150, towing their red speedboat and they will continue up to the north to go camping. I scan the carpark with her to see if he has arrived, the sky is bruised black and blue and rain is impending. It is 28 degrees and hot and humid. From the tourist bus, a 40 min drive into Noumea, the land ...
