... started up a conversation with Caleb and they spoke for a good half hour.
We made our way back to shore and eventually to downtown Noumea to show Caleb how real people live - a 3 star Best Western (Hilton was 4 star). The downtown is quite the rough looking place. I was ecstatic! I had moved over to try the buoys on the right hand side. In the end, I may have missed half of them, but it seemed as if the buoys were in deeper sections with poorer visibility and fewer fish. ...

... with seafood and verre vin rose) and it was very good. It was also huge so, even though I wasn't sure there were doggy bags here, I wanted to take half back to my hotel refrigerator for later. I started to try to ask the waiter but he knew what I wanted and immediately said yes.

Once I got back to the room, I looked out to see if the sun was setting yet. No, too early, but I did get a few sunset pics from my window. There was a lovely cloudy sky.
