      ... of the day, a strawberry cooler. Very sweet but very tasty. Al settled for jimmies and had just as much fun. Then it was off to dinner. After dinner we got organised for the next day which consists of a tender ride ashore and a snorkelling trip organised by us. Can't wait to see what Lifou is like. Dad is planning a day onboard out of the sun so he can heal. Renata, our steward, turned our beds down and turned 2 towels into flying pig. Time now for sleep ...

      ... disappeared so it was quite cool, and I didn't particuarly want the cough to get any worse, so we didn't stay there long.

      We caught the shuttle bus back to the ship and as it was departing at 4.10, I went up on deck to watch it slip the ropes off, then gave it away.

      Neither of us was feeling very well, so we just had lovely soup and bread for our evening meal then slept on and off with the ocean rocking us like a cradle.

      Day 5 – Sun 6 July - Noumea

      The ship berthed at the container port close to Noumea township. As we got closer we could see the terrain was similar to the Coromandel ranges with bush covered hills. It was a bit overcast but not cool. We decided to catch the shuttle bus from the ship to the town and have a bit of a walk about.       ... shops but found no snow globe :( We walked back to the Ship terminal and found Kelly, Daz , Han and Gracie. Gracie told Neaty where to find the snow globe! Aido bought a beautiful Serpentine sphere and a coin from World War 1. The lady told Aido all the history of the coin.
