... as every guide book you read will tell you Bangkok is the cheapest place. We booked a 5 island tour for tomorrow for 690 bahts each which seems very reasonable for a whole day trip. ... boated around the islands and we clambored through the 'back door' cave of an island to avoid docking fees. Walking across the island was only about 5 minutes, so we walked around then went back to the boat. Offsprey showed us the ol' pirate cave, and some of the other islands. Anyway as long as your on the beach facing out towards the ocean you can imagine this place being secluded and wonderful, i had a fun time here but was ever so slightly naive about how busy it was going to be. And this was quiet season. I hope all the islands on thailand aint like this to be honest!
