Most of my time on the island was spent on the beach. This included being knocked over by a powerful wave whilst I walked with my camera, in front of a busy beach bar. Luckily my camera survived.

I also went to a beach party which involved a pretty scary ride back to the hostel on back of a scooter during a thunderstorm.

We got the ferry at 11.30am from the same port we came in on. It cost us 300 Baht each. A man on the boat was lovely. We got a taxi with him and he got us through the island charge queue ...

... we have to catch a tuktuk to get to our room.

We went on an Elephant Trek through a rubber tree plantation. My Elephant was the same age as my mum. Afterwards we went on a jungle trek to see caves and a waterfall. We saw stalactites which are shaped like icicles and hang from the roof of a cave. We also saw very small bats. The waterfall had a rainbow.

One night we went out for dinner and had fish and chips. We ate thai style which means you ...
