    ... and mango salad and a singha for David. Then back up to the villa for coffee (percolator in room) and swims in the pool. Couldn't get any more relaxing.     ... the island in order to complete a diving course.  Tradition has it in their diving school that when people successfully complete their course and they become Dive Masters they have to go through a 'Snorkel Test' So we left our bikes behind and took tuk tuks ( ours being the most colorful party tuk tuk with music ever) and went to the pub " Irish Embassy'.     ... bit. We got dropped back at our resort about 3pm. We had a quick walk on the beach and then swam in the pool. We then chilled out by the bar had few drinks and then later dinner.     We got a ferry from phi phi to ko lanta today. We booked into the lanta pavilion resort. when the taxi got there, the taxi driver walked us up to a room and told us to wait at the door and joe the manager would come out to check us in. The room was joe's bedroom not a reception! Out comes joe, a fifty odd year old man, with a tiny towel wrapped around his waist to show us to our room.
