Arrived in Ko Chang and got a taxi to Lonely beach, the backpackers resort. When we arrived most of the accommodation was booked up and after being shown a few rooms with no ceilings and not wanting a repeat of the rat night we decided to have a few nights of luxury but spend less on food and drink to keep spending within our £30 per day budget. Woke at 2.30 am and just couldn't get back to sleep until after 6am- but on the bright side and due to the time difference I had a Facebook and email 'conversation' with some good friends in the UK. I'm still feeling so sad about Sadie and it was good to have some internet hugs.
