    ... to chat me up hence why we got let off without paying anything :D well I'm not complaining ! We then took a minibus to Trat, which is about one and a half hours from the boarder and a small city where you get the boat to get to Koh Chang. We were told this city is a nice place to stop over on the way to Bangkok so we thought why not break the journey up.     ... hear some great stories whilst travelling and meet nice people along the way, meaning you never really feel alone as a solo traveller.

    Definitely have to re-visit Koh Chang. As with all good locations it didn't feel long enough and the travel blues kicked in when leaving, the feeling off having to leave just as you start to make friends and discover what the place is all about.

    Up and at the airport waiting for mikes arrival by 8am. Thought it was going to be difficult finding mike but we ended walking toward each other in arrivals! From the airport we got a minibus down to trat, a ferry over to koh Chang and then dropped off at or hotel. Didn't get to the hotel till around 5pm.     ... we then walked into town to catch some free WiFi in a nice chilled out bar, enjoying a coffee (for Rob and a tea for Norma!) at the same time. Then after an 80p dinner each, we then headed back to the hotel for our pick up, where our relaxing day got shattered by a pickup that never arrived!
