... to say, it was all due to a large flying bug landing on my hand which caused me to freak out, slam on the brakes and send the bike on a sideways skid where the road was damp from rain. The most damage was to my pride as I was trying to stop the bike from falling on its side to minimise damage I accidently revved the engine to full throttle, attracting everyones attention that was nearby.
