On our first day in Koh Kong, Heather & I met a lovely Cambodian guy who offered to take us on his moto to some waterfalls & mangrove forests. Day 2, we did just that. The mangrove forests were beautiful, though they looked remarkable similar to my Florida backyard. The waterfall was actually a collection of river rapids. Locals as gathered all up the stream to battle the heat via a ride down the river. Apparently in high season the water is crystal clear, making it simple ...

We had to wait for the storm to pass and ...

I spent here a bit of time and one thing I will remember this place by, is all sorts of little creatures just ''gluing'' to me. The most colorful butterflies were just dancing around me or simply resting on me. Dragon flies just could let go of me...either it was my hand they hang out on or my ...

Koh Rong - Paradise!

A travel blog entry by bridgetluke on Mar 30, 2014

... Unbelievably the sand was softer and the water was much clearer. I thought this must be what the beaches in the Maldives are like. Unfortunately there was litter on the beach, but it seemed to have been washed up rather than left by people. As we walked further down the beach we found a nice spot to set up camp with no one else in view at all. With ...
