    The British guys have a very similar sense of humour/banter and we got along really well with them. So it was lucky our plans were overlapping, when we got up the next day we all got the boat to Koh Tao together. All of us were struggling with our hangovers and the boat certainly didn't help any of us. The guys had pre booked a hostel so it was lucky that when we rocked up with them the hostel had a dorm with two spare beds which we took! ...

    ... but wanted to leave the next day and return to Koh Tao. I told her there were too many people and this was not my idea of a relaxing beach resort. She agreed to refund our money for the 2 nights, so to cut a long story short, we rounded up the others and within an hour, we all had our money refunded and were generally feeling more positive about our much shorter stay on the island! I kept looking down into the sea to watch what they were all doing and just kept thinking how annoyed I was at myself for not being able to do it.
