We are having a grand time at the PGA this week. The media center is first class, complete with dining facilities and a bar. We are picked up by a bus each morning at a Charleston hotel 10 minutes from our campsite at the James Island County Park, then driven to the golf course at Kiawah. Thanks so much to the Outtens for hosting such a lovely evening in their beautiful home! It was so nice to gather and socialize before the big adventure begins in France.

It was also so wonderful to have a taste of fine French cuisine that you girls will be enjoying all summer. What a delicious Quiche Lorraine!

... Pleasant to view the Boone Plantation which to this day is still a working plantation. The house is the 4th on the site having been built in the 1930's by a Canadian Ambassador. It is currently owned by a brother and sister. The brother resides at the plantation while the sister resides also in California. The tour included the house, grounds and a presentation. Thursday evening we had dinner as part of my husband's conference in one of the resort's ballrooms. A great time was had by all and the food was very good. We marveled at the delicious lobster -- very impressive to prepare that for a large crowd.
