Upon paying my deposit for the trip I quickly packed up my stuff and checked out of my hotel. There is a some information on offer, some photographs of the devastation but there is little about the crew, or any of the human tragedy or rebuilding effort. The boat had only entered service in 2000, a valuable asset its to the local governments credit that it has been allowed to stay, the unfinished memorial is not.

We were glad of the lunch break and after eating, once again sat with the kindergarten children to wind down for a while before facing the last class of the day.
