... spectacle. The headmaster lined up 11 of the boys who had clearly committed some misdemeanours, and proceeded to cane them in front of the whole school.

The children here are always a pleasure to teach and today was no different. They came rushing off the playing field eager to say hello to us and shake our hands We started with “Transport” with the little ones in the first two classes. Nadine and Veronica soon got the hang of things and ...

... as we were there we might as well do our lesson preparation for next week and hopefully get in before the other teams and so avoid finding ourselves with the leftovers as had happened last week. With a few days teaching under his belt, Martin now seemed to be nearly on the same wavelength as Russell and me which was helpful and speeded up our work. ... these and we cheered when they finished. Afterwards Colin got the dive masters to show us to our cabins. Yay we ended up with a double cabin!!

Dinner was a soup, fried rice, and a noodle meal, yum! After dinner we went down to the dive deck and set up our dive gear then back upstairs and charged our electronics in the cabin.

Colin gave me my nitrox course book and I had a little look at this. Then off for a shower and in bed by 11:00.
