... side and reached the shore. The guide was watching if and how I dealt with the line and landed a bit too far. He was holding Alice who got stuck in leaves. She started screaming that there was a snake and she wanted to get out. Sunny and the guide ran to the rescue while Alice screamed and struggled. I tried to get ashore to help her. Sunny told her there wasn't any snake but it was a leaf. After they helped her ashore she said it was a spider, but she ...

Sitting outside our treehouse early in the morning, I can hear gibbons calling to each other and birds twittering madly. The jungle is so still no wind at all. We are in Khao Sok National Park 3 hours from Phuket.
We are staying in little huts that up in the canopy of the jungle. The huts are brand new and modern styling, but there is something very "Fawlty Towers" about them. Things are not quite finished ...

Against this backdrop, we were staying in a floating raft house that ...

... but this time we saw a glimpse of monkeys. Aof says he can hear monkeys, then suddenly he sees one and is trying to point out to us where it is but the monkeys move and next thing we're running through the jungle just to catch a sighting of them! They're so quiet and hard to see. We also saw more spiders in their webs and at one point one of the ladies shrieks and she's got a leech on her leg, Aof quickly whips it off and pops it on a tree, it's much smaller ...
