Quite frankly to book our return ticket the last second on the counter because you need one to enter the country really screwed the plans and the second one was that Clark wasn´t Manila but quite far from it. recently started to stay in the Oslob, Cebu area.
the set up isn't great as the local fishermen have been feeding the
whale sharks to keep them in the area. However, equally, this is one
of the poorest regions of the Philippines, with very few other ways
to tempt Filipino or foreign tourists so it is totally understandable
that the locals have jumped full pelt into this money making scheme.
