... last day and so the plan was to just hang around the hotel and pool until our evening departure, and, this we did. We were able to have a late check-out at 4 pm and spent the remainder of the afternoon by the pool, at the pool bar for sunset drinks and we even dined at the pool side restaurant before departing the hotel at 9 pm for our 11.45 pm flight.

A gentleman approached us at the pool side bar during sunset drinks to ask about Tom. It seems he ...

Driving around the countryside was a blast. We passed dozens more artisan shops and woodworking factories. These artists are amazing. But it did rain a bit later, which put a damper on things. ... our butts off but we couldn't help it. Tom, Alex, and Anthony were their names and we became friends in a matter of minutes. Needless to say I dropped my plans to see the dance and watch the sunset, and instead, headed to the Single Fin to indulge in some fine cocktails overlooking the ocean. We've had the ultimate blast the last couple of days just hanging out and enjoying life in Bali.
It's travel that creates lifelong memories and friendships along the way..

... seemed to suggest we might be heading towards town too. How're ever it soon became apparent we weren't getting ny closer to the beach...and had to ask a local which way the beach was. What should have been a 15 minute walk was a 15 minute walk, and it was dark now too. It also turned out that the beach wasn't where the action was, but we did come across one BBQ restaurant. I think our meals cost less than £2 each, and I think it ended up being my ...
