Exposure on the loo, dead rats too.

A travel blog entry by charlottesweb

... couples travelling Asia and it was comforting hearing their accents and their stories. We boarded the train and to our horror saw a squat toilet. On a moving train. What is this perverse circus act? Sitting down for a minute I started writing my post cards and then bang, power cut. So now we have a squat toilet, in pitch black, on a moving mode of transport. In that moment a beetle started crawling towards me as Nikita's arm rest broke off, what is life. Later on, ...

I Can See the Sea...

... is an impressive affair which I could wander round for ages, combined with clothes, jewelery, souvenir stalls, and it’s got a great vibe going on which is fun to be involved in.   I decided to visit one of the markets a bit out of town which was a retro type place which was very posh in comparison to anything I had seen in a long time.  Retro deco, fancy shops and eateries, old cars, tuk tuk’s and a Volkswagen VW all painted up made for ...

Excellent dinner, again surrounded by very well fed Germans and Russians. Starbucks then Tuk Tuk ...

She no longer has any teeth because they have worn down ...

Cars, Boats and change of plans

A travel blog entry by fatsomoo

Drive from Khao Yai to Hua Hin around Bangkok, the driving is here is considerably worse than in the civilised North. The trucks are properly scary drifting across the road for no reason. No doubt this is when the driver is trying to get some snoozing in!

On the way to Hua Hin we drove to a park about 80km round trip only to discover it was closed!!
