... it's low season/rainy season. It's the perfect place to just relax, do some fun tours and see some nature and it's only ten minutes from the Thai boarder which is ideal for our trip itinerary. Our favourite restaurant is Fat Sam's, which is just round the corner and has a big day Scottish owner called Sam the food is gorgeous and the portion size is absolutely massive, which is very unusual in South East Asia, especially ...

We suspect drug usage Not willing to be held to ransom for more than one drink we head off and get sucked into the reggae bar again as it has an atmosphere so we go in to make the most of it. You can't beat a good bit of Pato Banton........ ......or Aswad lol ....or Ini Kamoze.... They seen ...

... I struggled to climb up onto the high (for me) tailgate to get into the van, and since then whenever I use the shuttle service a mini step ladder magically appears at the side of the van and is then taken inside with us so I can exit with some dignity.

Although there is meant to be good snorkelling alongside the hotel the waves have been so big that it has not been possible to swim there yet but we are still hoping. In our room we have a large screen TV and DVD player which has ...

      ... drive with the motorcycle.

That brings me to the next thing I have to tell you. We rented motorcycles twice to explore the raw beauty hidden in the dephts of Ko Chang's jungle. Apologies, got a bit carried away.

The first time, Jess came along. She's an American friend, who's also a teacher in Thailand and lives in Surin. She was having a holiday in Ko Chang as well so we met regularly. With no plans in mind nor a map, which would have ...
