You can't sink or swim
Buffet breakfast at big hotels is always a big deal and this was no different. Lot of good options and good food. That was a good start of the day and we continued to take it light. I walked down to the fabled dead sea, which was another 40 meters downhill from the hotel. There was a small rocky beach with plastic slippers for the hotel guests and …
Goodbye Jordan
I had planned to take another dip in the dead sea and I was at it early in the morning. A bit of cloudy weather was a small deterrent and I downgraded my plans to some picture taking. Some good food and just more walks in the area preceded a check-out, followed by another Italian lunch. We waited a bit in the hotel lawns before we took a cab to the …
Dead Sea
This past weekend I traveled to the Dead Sea with two Jordanians I had met the past weekend and it was amazing! On the ride up there were families all alongside of the road for miles and miles and miles. Fam's in Jordan
Marhabtane!

TravelPod Member ReviewsJordan Valley Marriott Dead Sea Resort & Spa Sweimah
this was a fantastic property. the staff (especially the guest relations coordinator) were extrememly helpful. The property has direct access to the Dead Sea and three pools. In addition, there is a world class spa--I highly recommend the Arabic coffee scrub!! Finally, there are plenty of restaurants on the property, so you will not have to leave if you don't want to.
