It's not quite the Monday morning I had planned. The plan was - early morning run on the beach, and then have another little go at surfing for a couple of hours. The reality was a pair of very sore legs from two morning runs on soft sand, and multiple half hour walks along the beach from our cheapo accommodation to Jane and Michael's five star luxury. So today was the day we became Indonesian master chefs (well almost) we had an early start again as we had to be at the restaurant for 9 am. The first stop was Ubud market, for which three of us had to ride on one moped to get there Ubud market is absolutely massive and pretty much sells everything and anything from food to jewellery to clothes and materials and much much more. I found out that Matt and Frida would be arriving later that night. I bumped into Jack Graham, another friend from home (quite a few Outer Bankers out here at the moment), who happened to be staying in the room right next to mine. We caught up for a bit, I met his friend Hannah, we all ...

... of us felt we had actually seen one or learnt anything about one, but at least tasted lots of different types! Our drive took us to a lovely view of Mount Batur and Lake Batur from Penelokan. Being the second highest volcano in Bali, it certainly was beautiful and we lingered there on the side of the road for a while to take photos. I was feeling hungry so bought a banana to fill the gap from a wooden stall. As soon as we got back in the car our ...
