I made some enquiries regarding cave tubing on the weekend when there are no cruise ships in port (Gotta make sure you're not fighting the 3 hour land excursion crowd the tour operators rush through) so Saturday and Sunday will likely be adventure days.

Today we've decided to walk to the north side of the Bight to look at properties... I want to take a look at elevations and vegetation before thinking too much. Breakfast! Gotta go!

Dinner was Belizian specialties. Hinesh tried the hudutu (fish in coconut milk with mashed plantain and cassava bread). I had the Fish Tea (fried fish with lots of veggies and a delicious soup broth).

Hinesh is speaking with an Island accent at the moment. Apparently he sounds cooler now…

Met some more hippie oddball women with hairy armpits at Placencia’s chicken joint who gave me loads of good advice of where to do **** things – no thanks, and have a shave.

... see a jaguar. Oh well, maybe next time.

Our trip to Belize was fantastic, one we will remember forever. Part of what made it so great was the Nautical Inn hotel. The staff really made sure we had the trip of a lifetime. If we ever come back to Belize, which I have no doubt we will, we will stay with them again. It's funny how in just two weeks they make you feel like family.
