Day 2: Chicago, IL - Lake Itasca State Park, MN

A lot of people have asked me if anyone is with me on vacation. No, but I'm not by my self.... I have CC and the polar vortex to keep me company. ... was famous for its rocks! It was in like a cove and the rocks wash up and they are famous for them. Agate, Breccia, sand stone, slate, jasper, limestone, quartz, etc. just to name a few! We were slightly delayed due to road flooding on our intended route (M-28) so a detour was in order south on 45 to US 2 and on to Duluth, Minnesota.
