... was famous for its rocks! It was in like a cove and the rocks wash up and they are famous for them. Agate, Breccia, sand stone, slate, jasper, limestone, quartz, etc. just to name a few! We were slightly delayed due to road flooding on our intended route (M-28) so a detour was in order south on 45 to US 2 and on to Duluth, Minnesota.
Lunch was as at "Chars Cafe", Bruce Crossing where a few locals were silently eating their lunch, backs to the door and eyes on the TV. Found that a bit strange, but the service friendly.
