    ... awake which was good cause we had a busy afternoon ahead of us! So I got out into the hoop house and started getting rid of the remaining bok choy and womboks. The ones that weren't good went to the chickens and the other ones got washed and put into the cooler for vegetable boxes and for us to eat too! I also harvested some scallions for the vegetable boxes. In total I harvested 240 scallions - 120 white and 120 purple! They ...

    ... deliveries and that took a good 45 minutes... Once we sent Deb off on her way I went and did the chicken chores! Water filling, giving them some scraps, and then collecting the eggs! Because I didn't collect any yesterday, in total there were 30 eggs! Yeah! Go girls!! Lay them eggs!! :) I never get bored of watching them run up to me when I have food to give them.     ... started unloading the bales of straw and putting it into water tanks. The purpose of this is to soak the straw for about 6 days so it'll be nice and mushed down! We then collected the weeds again through the asparagus and rhubarb and then Jim starting hauling the wood chips to us and we mulched the entire garden. It didn't take as long as we thought, but it was hard work! It looks amazing now. No more jungle of weeds that are taller than you!! :) it's also a great feeling to have a ...

    ... after lunch Sarah and I got to work on the weeding out where the asparagus and rhubarb is planted. Oh my - it was a JUNGLE in there! Literally! The weeds were everywhere and it took ages to flag out all the asparagus and rhubarb!
