    ... bead shop … yes .. go along here, turn right, go up the stairs and over the bridge into the adjoining mall and look for the shop with this name….O-M-G … well … nothing ventured nothing gained.

    We had to walk through the discount "chemist" shop that seemed to sell everything but traditional chemist things such as cold and flu meds etc ... there were dozens of filled shopping baskets all over the place … people had half ...

    Yes it was my birthday today, woohoo!  Thanks for all the birthday wishes.  That's all we'll say on the matter. Today we did the tourist thing and hopped on a couple of those open topped tourist buses you see running around many cities.  Fairly cheap and a good way to learn about Singapore.     ... most recent acquisition was an attachment to her Kitchen Aid for making home-made pasta. Candace really should start her own cooking show because she magically created some incredible meals while I was visiting, all completely from scratch, including pizza (with homemade dough), linguini pomodoro, cauliflower sandwiches (with home-baked bread), salsa, pesto, hummus, and several super-yummy breakfasts.

    To start of the beginning of our adventure around Singapore we encountered a traditional Food market, after asking where we could get stuff for breakfast. As per all Asian restaurants there is no such thing as breakfast food. The market wa pretty cool though loads of flower and food stalls in one section and then lots of restaurant stalls in two sections where you order and pay for food then sit where you like and the bring it out to you on kinda picnic benches.
