Man this place is huge!
Terminal 3 takes half an hour just to walk from one end to the other. And that's only one level of one of the three terminals.
Oh well, at least we have 5 hours in the lounge to carb load before the walk to the departure ...

... for opening at 8.30am. The zoo was brilliant, with lots of exotic animals, including baboons, white tigers and even a polar bear. There was also an opportunity to feed animals, so we decided to give it a go with the giraffes, one of our favourite animals. ... run out of rice! As the restaurants are closing down, the last alternative is a Korean…good food but a bit too spicy for Elena. Only John tried the kimchi. Then we rushed out to buy some Oreo cookies to compensate with a little sweetness. We have already finished the biscuits and chocolate we brought from Barcelona.

... taxi picked us up (thanks Dan!) and took us to the Indonesian embassy. There we turned in our forms and passport and paid the 140 Singapore Dollars. Then we caught a taxi and went to the large mall on Orchard Rd. It was full of high end stores like a two story Cartier, Hermes, Christian Louboutin, everything you would want. We looked at the mall map (7 stories tall in total) and Christelle said we had to go to LaDuree, the best maker of macarons. I never object from ...

... some seriously heavy rain and we sheltered until it calmed down, the air felt so clear, very refreshing. We then made our way back to the ship, however not having seen the actual city itself, we still had an awesome day.

In the evening, we went to the Pennant Grill (the best restaurant onboard). Got dressed up and sat outside with wine and lovely food in the heat as we sailed away from the Singapore Skyline, which continued on to the St.Patricks Day party which was awesome!
