Highlights: 1) Lunch at the Intercontinental - holy smokes! 2) Overnight at the Hyatt in Da Nang Today we drove up the coast, past Da Nang, to Monkey Mountain, the home of the Intercontinental Resort. What an unbelievable place! We went only for lunch. and heard that rooms range from $350 to $6000 per night. Lunch is plenty for me, thank you! The …

Just walk along the waterfront and you will see things you've never seen before, you've never even thought off and things you never even wanted to see!! Its like all this people are part of a gigantic candid camera setup just for you. Amazing how people still can surprise you after all those years in China. You think you've seen it all? This morning the van headed for Nanshan in Sanya City. Along the way, planted in the middle of the highway, were miles and miles of Hibiscus. Beautiful to see. Nanshan means Southern Hill and is where the Guan Yin Buddha Goddess is located. ...

The food was nothing spectacular, but holy smokes, the resort is unbelievable! Absolutely gorgeous, in a breathtaking setting obviously, but also designed and decorated like I've never seen. Definitely worth a visit, would love to stay here at some point!
