The food was nothing spectacular, but holy smokes, the resort is unbelievable! Absolutely gorgeous, in a breathtaking setting obviously, but also designed and decorated like I've never seen. Definitely worth a visit, would love to stay here at some point!

We are now winding down and preparing ourselves for the journey home on Monday/Tuesday, by air, we have now had enough of trains. Last night we spotted a book by two Canadians (James Hawkins and Sheila Swanson) called Slow Train to China, they did the same journey as us last year and have turned it into book, a bit strange really, it is hardly adventurous travel, getting on and off scheduled trains and sleeping in nice civilised hotels. If you really want to enjoy it, either put some Jack Johnson Mp3 on your phone and plug in your ear phones so you dont get annoyed by all the megaphone yelling tourist guides or stroll around this area of the park on your way back in the afternoon when its nearly empty.
