We were here for a pre-cruise stay. Other than mosquitoes, it was great. Beautiful, well maintained property. At the prices, though, it wouldn't hurt to include internet for everybody.

... up to us asking if we're the "Graham" family. "YES!" Jess screamed enthusiastically, and we prayed that the Graham family never showed up.... though we're pretty sure they just had poor pronunciation of the name "Gorham". We were led down a path alongside a resort, then across their private beach and finally to a small shack under some trees. We were checked in, given snorkel gear and told to wait for our boat to depart over by the dock. The boat was definitely on ...

... took our order, and within only a few minutes appetizers began arriving at the table. My local pineapple surprise, was just yummy. The food tonight was on the Asian theme -- and what interested me the most was the sweet and sour pork. Excellently prepared, I ate every bite -- even wanted to lick the plate. After all had finished, desserts, coffee and they ever filling glasses of wine... all us us headed back to our cabins. Golly what a wonderfully fun and thrilling day. ...

... Tahiti, then the island of Moorea and the one we are really excited about, Bora Bora.

Papeete is the administrative capitol of Tahiti, the biggest island in French Polynesia, and is home to two thirds of the population. The main language spoken is French, although Tahitian and English are also spoken, and the currency is French Pacific Francs. The weather today is clear and warm, about 27 degrees. The tiredness ...

... few minutes. We just watched the second feeding session from the jetty so that we could get the bigger picture with the rays mixing with the swimmers and the sharks circling. When we arrived we were shown a couple of stone fish in a pool and had a demonstration of how they could stick out the sharp spine alone their back to inject poison into an unprotected foot. We were given plastic shoes to wear, not flippers. At 3.45 we decided to take the boat back to land. Lady Luck smiled ...

... cool. We were greeted by a Chauffeur this time who transferred us to our accommodation in the city in an Audi A8. He was very chatty and took us on a scenic route instead of the freeway, however the trip was not without incident as we got caught up in a police pursuit with a possible stolen car heading towards us at speed on the wrong side of the road. Both cars ran the red light then disappeared in the distance.
