... Funnily enough, or so I thought, I did not have a headache, just feeling really kak (****).

Work was put into hibernation mode as we lay low all day, looking and feeling like a pair of washed out jeans. We sat around doing nothing all day, or at least nothing meaningful. We even missed yoga for heaven’s sake.

... to arrange a taxi at reception but alas, they were closed by the time we got back from drinking and eating last night. No problem, we’ll organize that very quickly in the morning, or so the thinking went. As it was an international flight we had to be at the airport at least two hours beforehand, thus we decided to leave latest 08:00 and get to the airport at 08:10, cutting it fine but it should be OK.

... you don't give in to the ripoff. Wait I did. For an hour. More people show. I get a ride to the pier, for a 100 baht ( $3). Next game.. "1500 baht for boat ride to haad yuan, for one person." ( $45) no way. I sit and wait for the next ferry. Two hours...im the only one there. I'm hot, I have to find a restroom. I have no one to watch my backpack. It's hard to squat with this beast of a bag on my back. I watch the taxi drivers play a game of soccer while they wait ...
