    ... Australia that I have heard so much about. This gives the impression that the city caters for the younger type of people that you find owning these sorts of vans for travelling the world in but in fact Cebu is far from a backpacker haven. The only other white people I saw in the time that I was there were the older men with very young Filipino women on their arm; they were never unaccompanied and never below the age of fifty. No backpackers in sight.
