Great service, great restaurant, beautiful resort and amazing pools. When you look at the pictures, you think it can't be that great until you get there and see how picturesque it really is.

I had gone to Scottsdale on a work trip a few couple years prior and found this hotel was amazing. I raved so much about it, we decided to make a trip of it. I think we ate at every restaurant on site and the Italian restaurant called Alto Ristorante e bar and that was an amazing meal. The service all around the hotel is great and the pools were …

On Thursday we drove to Cave Creek and Carefree, north of Scottsdale. Had dinner at Pinnacle Peak, also a restaurant from the past. Great time.. Also a steak dinner. Yummy.

This morning we dropped Abby off at 'Always Unleashed' this fantastic doggy daycare Center for her first day trial run. Sandy was very stressed leaving her there!

We did though, and drove via The Phoenician Resort which looks amazing and then went to Royal Palms Resort for a lovely Sunday brunch - beautiful prawns, ...

Of course there are some remodeling projects for added fun … to be done by Thanksgiving; more family on the way from Oregon and California.

We are happy to be here and off the road for a while. It has been such fun! ...

... fantastic Mexican spots which I'm not sure which one was better. Los Reyes de la Torta, where August ate El Rey - steak, chicken, pork, ham, chorizo, and even hot dog. I think it had more but I'm not sure. We all had natural fruit juices. It's great going to these places with a big group, especially Ruben as he is a taster - which I am also. A taster is someone who wants to taste everyone else's food and plans ...
