One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Although we were in one of the cheaper rooms we had a good view of the mountains. Pool area excellent and good shuttle services to local areas. Breakfast very good and served in a stunning setting.

I shall certainly stay here again.

The view was great, even though we were technically in the basement. We had a walkout from our room. The room was pretty basic; no extras. There was some miscommunication regarding the internet access. The front desk did not mention that I was paying for this service, and because I was under the assumption that it was extra, I didn't use it. Facilities for conferences were nice.

The hotel is very comfortable. We can view the mountain and sea from the room. The sunset from the hotel garden was the best.

          Maui & Moloka'i

Today we traveled to the island of Moloka'i to visit the Kalaupapa National Historic Site. Located on an isolated peninsula on the north side of the island, this area was the site of enforced isolation of sufferers of Hansen's Disease (leprosy). In the mid-1800s, the disease was introduced to the Hawaiian Islands. Unfortunately, the native Hawai...

Maui - The Spectacular Southern Beaches

Maui - The South Beaches Tomorrow we are scheduled to fly from Maui to Kauai, the final island on our four-island itinerary. Our last major excursion on Maui today, January 2, 2008, was to be the so-called "South Beaches" located along the south-west coast of Maui. It can be safely said that we are not "beach people" in the sense of lying on a b...

The alarm clock woke us up and we got ready for our early morning adventure to watch the sun rise on the summit of Haleakala. We didn't get much sleep but we were wide awake because of the excitement we had for our upcoming adventure. The shuttle-bus arrived on time and off we went. We had to pick up some other passengers along the way and then ...
