... make it to the beginning of the service, unfortunately, as the roads were unpaved and the speed limits in Canada are ridiculously low. We did make it halfway through though, and it was a beautiful experience. The church was packed, and the service was chanted by the nuns in Greek, but with a pronounced French accent.
P.S. While modesty rules are written down and expected, no headcoverings required or requested. My kind of monastery!

We attempted to find the farmers' market in St. Jerome but did not. People at a gas station told me it was on Wednesday. Today was Tuesday. We did find some vegetables elsewhere. I think the farmers' market was today though.
We passed by the Parc Regional de la Riviere-du-Nord in St. Jerome and went bicycle riding there. We paid the entrance fee into the park which is $5 per person and $25 ...
