Finally time for holidays. It was Sunday night and our flight was in the early morning. Destination for this time was Tenerife, Canary Islands. ... up the lovely sun and using the pool before heading up to get ready and enjoying some pre dinner drinks. We decided to head back for more of what had been our fav meal of the trip, chicken! Andrew joined Mandy in having a barraquito coffee, which is a first, Andrew enjoying coffee!! Headed back to the hotel after our meal and called it a night.
... the restaurant we had chosen was just a short walk along the coast and also looked out over the water. It was primarily a fish restaurant so we indulged in some local choices with one in particular being recommended by the wait staff. After a lovely meal we headed back to the hotel and enjoyed some drinks on the balcony.
... the sea where we enjoyed various tapas and a ice cold beer before heading back to the hotel for some more relaxing.
We took a taxi to Adeje which is about 10 minutes away to have dinner in this street cafe that only does Garlic chicken, home made chips and salad, which made the ordering easy! It was good, despite the screaming children at the next table doing their best to spoil everyone's dinner. We returned to the hotel and had a few glasses of vino on the balcony.
... br> We then headed to the world famous Linekers bar, after being chaperoned in so the boy could get commission we gritted our teeth through the round of drinks and left. We decided that we would walk the journey home, stopping for a drink in a bar that happened to have the Aberdeen Elvis! Only saw about ten minutes but was mildly entertaining, we then completed the journey home and called it a night.
