      Relaxing...

      from

What a pleasant experience! The staff was friendly and courteous, the grounds were well kept, the environment was relaxing-no big resort style where you had to go to events & eat at certain times, not expensive, great happy hour prices!

      Loved it

      from

I visited Fun holiday beach Resort lasted Aug.2003 with my two young daughters (1 & 14) & there friends. The staff was friendly & attentive, the kitchenette was large & well stocked. There was plenty for adults, to do as well. The Jungle Nite Club is just a walk across the street. We had a great time, so much that I'm taking 12 adult girlfriend this Aug. 2004

      Loved Fun Holiday

      from

I visited Fun Holiday in Easter with my family. I purchased one of their internet specials which includes airport transfers. The transportation came on time for us, the driver a very friendly person talked about the various small towns we passed through on the way to the hotel. At the hotel we were greeted by the courteous front office staff and for the whole week everyone was very nice to us. The rooms are clean, food is great and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I already have a reservation for the Christmas holidays. I would suggest anyone who visit Negril to stay at Fun Holiday Beach .

      Fun Holiday is great!!!

I had a really good time at the Fun Holiday Resort. It is right on the seven mile beach in Negril. The room was great and the service was excellent. The staff is very nice. I am looking foward to the next time I return to jamaica.

      Anniversary Vacation

      from

Recently I visited Negril with my Jamaican bride. She made the travel arrangements for our anniversary. We book the a suite at the Fun Holiday Beach Resort. I was a little cautious when we arrived as the rustic appearance is different from the city. However when we were shown our room is was a knock-out. Our door open straight to the Pool and Jaccuzzi with the Caribbean sea as its back drop. It was like an artist drawing. Just picture perfect. Mr. Vernon the manager had a bottle of champagne chill and waiting for us in our room. Never before had we been treated this way. I say "keep up the good work Fun Holiday and you gave me the best Jamaican Experience" "you are the Best"

      Recent stay at Fun Holiday

      from

I spent the christmas at Fun Holiday Beach Resort with my family and friend. This was my fisrt time at this resort and I was extremely impress with the amenities and the courteousness of the staff. We were late for our flight back and the management personal offer us a free night stay while they took on the responsibility of still getting us to the airport. They were successful and we catch the flight in the nick of time, but we will never forget the gesture and all our future stay in the island of Jamaica will be at the Fun Holiday Beach Resort.

      Fun Holiday The Best

      from

I stayed at Fun Holiday for the Christmas , this was my second trip there . I first stayed there last March for springbreak with my college friends and fell in love with the property and told my family about it and we decided we would all go back there .We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and will be regular visitors from now on. The staff there are just the best and they really let us feel at home . The rooms clean and the food great.I think that if you really want to enjoy the good island hospitality you should visit Fun Holiday . As the Jamaicans say One Love , I say Fun Holiday is all about Love . When you visit FUn Holiday tell them Annie L said Hi .

I stayed at Fun Holiday over in November .On the beach , rooms modest and clean and the staff there was just excellent . I have never seen a friendlier set . One can only observe that the staff there are very happy with their job . They are always so willing to help especially those at the bar. The chefs take pride in their work and and the maids are very honest. I suggest that anyone who wants to visit a small hotel where the atmosphere is just perfect visit Fun Holiday . Tell them Annete Green sent you .

      Fun Holiday is the Best!

      from

I was recently in Negril for 10 days. While there I stayed on the cliffs as well as on the beach.. Fun Holiday was an excellent beachfront choice as it is conveniently located to all of the night spots and shopping areas. On Thursday evening we attended a Reggae Party on the beach at Fun Holiday. It was great! Fun Holiday has the best pool and jacuzzi on the beach. The bar is great and the staff is eager to please. The rooms are modest and clean and a great value for the money. If going to Negril, make sure to call Fun Holiday.. I did and I plan to return in January.. Can't wait! By the way make sure you try the 2 for 1 Lobster - it's a great deal! Ask for Vernon or Garfield they will take great care of you.... Tell them Deb Cox sent you!

      Fun Holiday - my review

      from

I went to Jamaica for a week holiday in September 2002 and checked into FUN HOLIDAY because I wanted to be on the beach and in the middle of the action... I kept my options open and booked my room one night at a time. The rooms were modest and clean, the second level has a nice balcony. As a single guy the staff were very friendly to me and Jefferey the bartender was one of the best bartenders in Negril. The few single women that were alone at FUN HOLIDAY told me there were all harrassed by the male staff - one of the managers followed one of the girls to her hotel door late at night and wanted to come in ... Another male kitchen staff wrote a long love note to another girl asking to her to stay in Jamaica and marry him, etc... You have to be tough to fend these guys off if you are female and alone. It was off season not many tourists in Negril at all. After three days I had to check out because the hotel could not make me a coffee in the morning! One day I went out and bought fresh ground coffee and gave it to the cook - it took them over 1.5 hours to make me a cup of coffee! The next morning I waited 1 hour and then one of the staff told me they couldn't make me the coffee because the cook didn't show and nobody could get into the kitchen. The guy told me to go over to see Jah B, a rasta nearby, and he will make me a coffee - so I did and Jah B made me an instant coffee outside his hut on an open fire which took another hour and which sucked.Since September 2002 I believe they have made some renovations. I believe that if you go during the peak season the hotel is better staffed and prepared for meals - considering the place gets packed with college kids during spring break, etc. The water also went out frequently while I was there and I had to wash myself in the sea. I ended up moving to Bar'B'Barn for the rest of my week which was much nicer with an excellent breakfast and dinner - but the staff were unfriendly and unhappy for the most part which sucked.

      Friday night at Couples

A travel blog entry by robertiz on Dec 04, 2014

After a short trip from the pit stop/introductory to sales 101 in Jamaica we came to our resort. Stewart handled the luggage while the porters lined the bags up telling us to check in and he would have them ready for us when we returned. The check in process was slow but with Sparkling wine in hand we were extremely patient. We found that our walk-out beachfront room was not available until the next day so Emeil apologized but said he would move ...

      Jamaica at last

A travel blog entry by robertiz on Dec 03, 2014

The flight time went by pretty quick considering the wait in Dallas but as the captain announced approach and we saw the waves getting closer our memories of the morning troubles cleared and we new our adventure was about to begin. The waves kept getting closer as we approached but no sign of land. Closer and closer yet and still no sign, then all of the sudden a runway and we touched down, good thing too. We exited the flight and headed to customs. Customs was busily ...

Quite a few eyebrows have been raised given that I am a girl and travelling by myself. I assure you, world is much more beautiful than the idea we have in our mind. There are lots of good people out there.

... there just in time, don't like these close calls, not good for the stress levels. From Miami we flew to Montego Bay which was only an hour and a half flight. Got to our hotel, and it's fantastic. It's got a nice big pool right next to the beach, a lazy river and a couple of water slides. We've got the all-inclusive package so you can eat and drink as much as you want. Spent the afternoon floating around the pool drinking Piña Coladas and Red Stripe beer ...

TK is a newly minted attorney and had been in Court on the day I met her. Mark and I learned that in Jamaica, the attorneys wear robes in court and special collars. We enjoyed comparing and contrasting the legal system similar to the US, derived from the English Common Law but with traditions still much more formal, perhaps vestiges from ...
