    ... all this and wondered how narrow is narrow? Turns out ITS VERY NARROW and then ITS A BIT NARROWER. When you see the pictures you will see we literally had a couple of inches to spare on each side! Mike somehow got us through it and safely to the site but we are not quite sure how to get back out again next Saturday... You'll have to wait for that blog to find out! So this journey was completed and we had safely arrived at campsite no 5 after approx 180 miles and about 6 hours. ...

    ... and over the glacier right to the top - next time then! We got the 'yoghurt pot' back down and drove back to the campsite very ready for a rest, food and a little wine. As we sat outside looking up at the surrounding mountains we couldn't quite believe that in one day it was possible to go up and down two huge lifts are great! Dinner was Steak on the Cadac with potatoes, salad and bread. Dad was asleep in his chair by 8.30! ...

    ... letting the water run off very well, there was so much in such a short time it was forming puddles in dips in the roof. We did what we could to fix it and retreated to the luxury of the caravan to play Uno and congratulate ourselves on not being in a tent! As we peered out the window at other people who were tenting with a river in the middle of their tent we felt very smug with our dry caravan and a nice cup of tea. Until... ...

    Today before sailing we went to the bike shop and got some bikes. When we were on the water we were going downwind then up and tacked and then the vang broke. We tried to get Bully's attention but he didn't see us so we went to the other rib and Sam, Archies Dad, tied a knot so we could finish the training session. After sailing a few of us kids went back to the Coper's and then we went and had pizza together. Mum had dinner at Jill and Guy Abels with Chris.
