    ... experience. Costa Rica has a long
    way to go to get PT to be a more active experience, as the field is more a
    passive treatment right now. I think our students made a difference in many
    lives, and I hope Marymount's future in Costa Rica is long and promising. Thank
    you all for reading my blog. I hope you have learned some things, and I hope
    you have had a few laughs. I will post once more upon my return to the states,
    but for now, Pura Vida.

    It was still early after we finished our river jungle cruise and everybody wanted more. We all agreed to take a hike at the nearby Caracoles National Park. The Caracoles National Park charges US$10.00 per person or the equivalent in Costa Rican currency.

    ... ability to balance on a moving board, but I'm giving new meaning to the term 'wipe-out'. DH is doing a little better but I'm sure it looks as though there's a sniper in the trees picking us off each time we try to stand. Each attempt at surfing is also followed by a thorough documentation of all new and recurring injuries (DH is winning that game but primarily because of a large bug that flew into her ear and never came out).

    ... at the Ricardo Saprissa stadium. Uriel, you see was our driver that took the ICDS clan to Monteverde. He sat with Mackenzie and I at dinner the first night, and from then on I would say we became buddies. He showed me pictures of his family, and told me about his life, and all the places he has traveled! We definitely got lucky by bringing up that subject because by Sunday he was telling us about this soccer game on Wednesday that he would take us to.
