... Sicily is a four lane freeway which is under construction, reconstruction and repair I would say for a good third of it. It is also a freeway with about 40 tunnels, followed by long loooong high bridges. Basically you run through mountains, then over river valleys and then once in a while drop to flat valley bottoms. Hillside towns run along beside you for part of the way, interspersed with rolling hills of olive groves, some vineyards, the occasional sheep herd and ...

... so much! Also, not only is the touch screen unit on the backs of the seats pretty short on choices, both mine and Rob's are defective. The wonderful thing here is that families attend these things, so you have children dancing with their siblings, their cousins, parents and grandparents. It was wonderful to watch and be part of. A young man I didn't even know dragged me into a conga line!! My cousin Antonio was in his glory. I don't know how many ...

... away, we stopped to pick up costumes for tomorrow night's big annual summer party at the house. I've only ever heard about these legendary parties and don't know quite what to expect. The theme this year is "Westerns". Antonio said you could come dressed as a cactus of you wanted, but it basically had to have something to do with the days when there were cowboys. Stay tuned I guess??
The restaurant was truly a gourmet experience. They seated us in a beautiful outdoor ...
