The hotel suggested a little known beach nearby.

We spent an amazing day here sunbaking and swimming, snorkeling and climbing all over the rocks in and out of the water.

We finished the day at a great locals restaurant eating pasta and seafood high up overlooking the amazing coastline.

We drove to a shopping centre that Mum LOVED!
Mum wanted to go into every shop she could in the shopping centre.

After 2 hours of looking at shops and clothes we went to get something to eat and Mum and Zara went into a massive shop.

Riley, Dad and me went to a takeaway shop and I got a burger.

... Dad and I swam out to a far rock and I was doing flips it was so much fun. And I was also chasing fish and we also on the beach build a little hut and fire place made of bamboo and leaves to make a roof.

Then on our way back home we stopped by a restaurant and we ate there. It was so nice I had a spaghetti tomato sauce pasta.

Overall I loved this stay just because of the pool area and so much fun things to do.

I think it is the type of place that only operates for two months of the year during the summer holidays so everything looked very shut up and dilapidated with rubbish strewn everywhere. We found the cycle route and were glad we hadn’t taken it. It was overgrown with 10 foot high bamboo and thorny briars which I am sure ...

The birthplace of Archimedes(you remember the book Mr Archimedes bath) and chosen island for Mafia. There are quite a few mafia type souvenirs around the little shops, along with lava from Mt Etna, which was smoking satisfactorily when we were leaving. Lots of tiny streets in the old town, plus, of course, high end shops and tourists, but not as many as other places. Antiquities too and I would have liked to spend more time here and less in ...
