    ... village was quite a sight also... There are grains spread out in front of the houses, presumably to dry but I'm not sure why! There was also the vegetable Bok Choi EVERYWHERE. hanging on people's balconies, driveways, washing lines, everywhere! The few villagers there were did stare quite a bit but it was not in a rude way.     Beijing has been wonderful we have really all enjoyed the experience and are going back after a couple of days here in Pingyao.
