    ... her name. I think she's a bit scared of me due to her not being able to understand English too well, bless her. They ran around a bit, playing with balloons and hiding items and trying to find them, and eating chocs and biscuits. After the party it was bedtime, and I skyped home and spoke with everyone who was about to tuck into Christmas dinner :-) It was a good Christmas, and for those few days it did feel different and Christmassy ...

    The party was held at some exhibition centre -- I want to say Art Gallery but I'm not entirely sure if it was. We had a large room hired out, a nice function room. There was a big Christmas tree which had been well decorated, and a play corner for the kids. There were white chairs set out in a large circle and a table ...

    ... my train tickets, out for lunch, for a coffee, and the countless meals out I have had with my host family. They have always paid for me, and I think they do so because 1 - this is actually part of their culture and I am "the guest" and 2 - they are nice people and would probably be horrified if I tried to pay for at least my share.

    ... sizes. He did try on a beautiful boy's silk traditional dress outfit that fit him perfectly, but where would he wear such a thing? Great picture, though!

    For convenience, we had our typical lazy susan lunch at the Spinning Mill. It was disgusting! It was all bones -- chicken bones, fish bones, pork bones. No one ate anything! And, Sue keeps asking why do they call it a Lazy Susan?!!

    ... and distributed, supporting the whole village. Whilst there, we took part in a tea ceremony, sampling the tea which was lovely. Wendy and I purchased some of the local product which was expertly packed to be taken home. We were excited to hear that we would be having lunch at the local farmer's restaurant.
