In true form Troy and I decided we'd pick a hike that was called 'Chimney top', only 4 miles long can't be that bad. Holy **** it was steep! When you get to the top you have to climb a massive boulder I got about a quarter of the way up the boulder and started to freak out it ...

Our heads pointed downhill, and I spent the night alternately dreaming of falling and fending off Julie as gravity pulled her onto my side of the tent. I tell you, I didn’t need Julie’s body heat pressing all up on me because the tent was, once again, a steam bath. I thought mountains would be cooler at night!
Maybe Benadryl wasn’t such a bad idea after all. Too bad I didn’t bring any.

On the way back Chris and I checked out 'Food City' and collected another loyalty card for another grocery store that we'll probably never see again.

How has this resort rated in the past?
Staying at the Holiday Inn was wonderful in downtown Gatlinburg. They had late night swim for adults and there was a store right across the street. It was also within walking distance from all of downtown Gatlinburg.
