... overlooking the beach. The bungalows were nothing special, most of the walls didn’t reach the ceiling and the some of the wildlife managed to creep its way in but that wasn’t a problem. Either side were palm trees and next to those were mango trees. At night you could hear the mangos dropping from the trees which invited more animals to feed. ... feeling great. We went for dinner and Luke, Andy and fallon were walking passed so they joined us and we went for a few drinks after. ... was growing. Of course there were the ones I knew (lemon grass, Thai basil), coconut, banana), but I also got to see galanga, pineapple, tamarind, papaya, mango and many more edible goodies. Things also grow very very fast here. I was looking trees with half a dozen papayas on it that were only a few months old?!?!

Now with my carry-out bags of leftover food I need to see if Brian can take the heat...

... 200 Baht each and realistically we just wanted to get out rather than paying to see a waterfall.

Koh Chang is a beautiful lush green island. The night we hired the scooter, we drove to Bang Bao - gorgeours fishermen village. It had some places to stay at, bars, restaurants and shops built on pier going into the sea... very picturesque.

I can imagine our Lonely Beach would be awesome if the sun came out just for a day or so... I've seen postcards ...
