Early night and up the next day to go skiing at Whiteface. The next morning we walked upto the main street. Sooooo pretty, a couple of inches of snow on everything, all the houses looked spectacular with their broad decks and Christmas wreaths. At the centre of the town is a huge lake, maybe 1km across that is frozen and people were ice skating and dog sledding across it.

It helps that our body heat doesn't make it outside of our clothing so when you get snow on your jeans or jumper it just brushes off.
