    Next stop Calistoga for a late lunch at the Hydro Grill. Finding good restaurants is always a goal and this place had good burgers and beer, Mike's beverage of choice. Calistoga is a quaint town, but beware the curbs. One of them jumped up and attacked Patty, causing her to fall! Fortunately she was not seriously hurt and this did not interfere with her wine tasting forays.

    The last stop on our wine adventure was Artesa Vineyards & Winery. With its majestic views and surprising building design, Artesa was amazing. The fountains, sculptures, artwork provided a lovely venue to end our tour.

    ... bottle, and on to the final winery for the night, Gifford. It was a bit further of a drive to this winery, and we pulled in at 6:50pm, and technically the last tasting was at 6:45pm. But the young woman helping us agreed to do one fast, and was really nice once she learned that I was a UGA alum like her. We were even able to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the wine.
