We left Idaho on June 6th, after an amazing bike ride in the Grand Tetons. We rode from Moose Junction to Jenny Lake. The ride was a gentle up hill all the way. We reminisced about our prior visit 34 years ago with 3 infant girls. What a wonderful time we had then hiking around Jenny Lake! On the 7th we hightailed it across Montana. Bill was a ...

Traveled today from Grand Portage, MN to Bemidji, MN. On the way, we missed Betty's Pies. The parking lot was packed full, no place for the truck and coach.

Bemidji is the home of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox Babe. We checked out the statue by Lake Bemidji while on our way to dinner. We will spend the overnight here and head to Detroit Lakes, MN tomorrow.

We were able to haul in another 6 perch, bringing our total for the day up to 19 perch. These will make a great fish dinner tomorrow night!

Today, we had to bring Jared to meet Grandpa & Grandma Kingma at Rush Lake, so he could hitch a ride home. Since we were going to be making the 2 1/2 hour drive, we decided to make a day out of it, and visit some of our old vacation and "special" spots. First on the list was Battle Lake, Minnesota, where I had gone with my family for 2 weeks every summer from the time I was born until sometime in ...
