It is a place as could see myself living and never getting board of seeing the view either down by the lakeside or up at the top of Mount zircon with its 360 panoramic view! We reach the town and have a quick look around, pop in the local Salvation Army store to see what people give away over here. It was all pretty similar to home but a lot of snow sport related goods unsurprisingly. ...
... so I headed down to the lake and snapped away! It's crazy to go from snow in the mountains, to the warmth of the beach in Wanaka. It's low elevation hardly ever allows for snow on the ground- it's nice to have the warmth.
