      We kept our decision to come to Mauritius a secret since booking the trip in about Feb. because we wanted to surprise our friends who were going there for a surf ski race competition. We arrived on the 28/6/14 and spent our first night at Blue Bay. There was only 1 restaurant open, where I had 1 rum punch, and had my head blown off- too strong for me.       ... Mauritius around 7 pm local time (time difference to HK is 4 hours). Since the next connection to Madagascar was two days later, Air Mauritius was kind enough to provide us with 2 free nights in the Moevenpick resort. (A fact we found out more or less by accident.)

      ... animals. Never forget Hwange NP where we had hundreds of Elephants scrambling for a water hole, or Chobe NP with heaps on Hippos, Lions, Leopard, Elephants and Buffalo amongst others.
