We kept our decision to come to Mauritius a secret since booking the trip in about Feb. because we wanted to surprise our friends who were going there for a surf ski race competition. We arrived on the 28/6/14 and spent our first night at Blue Bay. There was only 1 restaurant open, where I had 1 rum punch, and had my head blown off- too strong for me. ... Mauritius around 7 pm local time (time difference to HK is 4 hours). Since the next connection to Madagascar was two days later, Air Mauritius was kind enough to provide us with 2 free nights in the Moevenpick resort. (A fact we found out more or less by accident.)

This week has retained the action packed theme from last week, but all you back in SA slogging away in the office will be glad to hear that it has been 3 days of pure office work.
