... 4 people had chosen to stay behind today after feeling a bit on the sick side. Trudy has been unwell for the past 2 days with a fever while others have stayed in bed to mend sore throats, headaches, sprained ankles, and weak knees. Hopefully they improve by tomorrow, as we leave the hotel at 7 am to go to Hangzhou. Even the hotel kitchen staff is coming in an hour early to prepare breakfast just for our group. Talk about service!
... vehicles here though. Yesterday in Shanghai, I saw a couple double-decker style buses with bunk beds in them. Just the kind of ride I wish I had to high school everyday! People were lying down in their beds, watching out the window, others were sound asleep. I thought this only existed in Harry Potter with the Night Bus.

At first they insisted that we drink the hard stuff, and not just sip it for the toast, but to slug down the whole glass. I quickly changed to drinking the weaker beer, but one of my colleagues did not. After a few hours of drinking and eating it was time to go home.
